Sri Krishna Janmashtami 2022 - In South Korea
Appearance day of Lord Sri Krishna
Sri Krishna Janmashtami is the divine appearance of Lord Sri Krishna, for many people it is a day to celebrate this festival with great jubilation, for it is a time when people can come together to observe the appearance of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
The celebrations at ISKCON Pochean this year 2022 were attended by many people wanting to remember and worship Lord Krishna on this special day, the day consisted of abhishak (bathing) and Jhulan (swinging) of Lord Sri Krishna. A yajna (fire sacrifice) was performed and a modern rock band played for the pleasure of the Lord, the guests and devotees. The evening was completed with melodious kirtans and a full Arati, followed by prasadam (blessed food) for everyone to relish and enjoy.
A blessed event for everyone to come and remember Lord Sri Krishna, who is the Lord of the universe, the super soul in every one’s heart, guiding everyone to come closer to Him for peace and prosperity. Jaya Sri Krishna!
