Rathayatra 2022
The Rathayatra is the great chariot festival of Lord Jagannatha, Lord Baladev and Lady Subadra.
The 2022 Rathayatra festival of Lord Jagannatha was able to go ahead this year after coronavirus restrictions were lifted, due to a long and anticipated wait the celebration was set to go ahead. This year as in previous years the Chariot festival started at the ISKCON Pochean Sri Sri Radha Krishnaschandra temple, and commenced through the Sanguri town and back to the ISKCON temple.
The celebration was attended by many worshipers, who were over joyed with the occation, the festivaties were filled with kirtan, darshan and arati, and prasada, and ofcourse the pulling of the cart.
Jagannatha, Baladeva, Subadra ki Jaya!
